Terms of Use
The rules for using MyPick, kept as clear and straightforward as possible.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By downloading, accessing, or using MyPick, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Your licence to use the iOS app is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement unless a different licence is expressly provided with the app.
2. What MyPick is
MyPick is a casual game and entertainment app designed for local multiplayer and single-player use. It includes random-selection games, reaction games, memory games, scoreboards, and similar entertainment features.
MyPick is provided for fun and general entertainment. Game outcomes, random selections, reaction results, and scores should not be relied upon for important, legal, financial, medical, safety-critical, or other consequential decisions.
3. Your use of the app
You agree to use MyPick lawfully and responsibly. You must not:
- attempt to interfere with, damage, reverse engineer, or misuse the app except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- use the app in a way that harms, threatens, harasses, or endangers another person;
- use gameplay outcomes as a substitute for responsible decision-making where someone's safety, money, rights, or wellbeing may be affected;
- use the app for unlawful gambling, wagering, or any activity prohibited by applicable law.
4. Local scores and names
MyPick may allow you to enter a name or nickname for local scoreboards. You are responsible for the content you enter on your device.
Do not enter information that is unlawful, abusive, or unnecessarily sensitive. Local leaderboard data may be lost if the app is deleted, reset, reinstalled, or affected by device storage changes.
5. Availability and changes
We may update, change, add, or remove features from MyPick over time. We do not guarantee that every feature will always be available on every device or operating-system version.
We may also stop offering the app or a particular feature where reasonably necessary.
6. Intellectual property
MyPick, including its software, visual design, branding, graphics, sounds, text, and original game presentation, is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app in accordance with these Terms and the applicable Apple licence. They do not transfer ownership of MyPick or its intellectual property to you.
7. No warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyPick is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise that the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or software configuration.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, right, or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, MyPick.
We are not responsible for decisions, disputes, losses, injuries, purchases, wagers, dares, challenges, or other real-world consequences arising because users chose to follow a random game outcome or score.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
9. Privacy
Our handling of information is described in the MyPick Privacy Policy.
10. Apple terms
If you downloaded MyPick from Apple's App Store, your use of the licensed application is also governed by Apple's applicable App Store terms and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections or legal rights that apply to you in your country of residence.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms when MyPick changes or where legal, regulatory, or operational requirements make an update appropriate. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
