Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

EchoFrame is built to help you reflect calmly and track patterns over time. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Private by default You control notifications Subscriptions via Apple

1) Information We Collect

  • Account data: If you sign in (e.g., Sign in with Apple), we may receive an identifier to create your account.
  • Journal content: Your entries, reflections, and optional photos are stored so the app can function.
  • Device & diagnostics: Basic technical information (e.g., crash logs) to improve reliability.
  • Subscription status: We check your purchase entitlement to unlock Premium features.

2) How We Use Your Data

  • To provide journaling, reflections, and pattern insights.
  • To store your content securely and sync it across devices (if enabled).
  • To maintain app performance, fix bugs, and prevent abuse.
  • To determine whether Premium features are available on your account.

3) Photos

If you attach photos to entries, EchoFrame only accesses the images you explicitly select or capture. Photos are used solely to display alongside the relevant entry and (if enabled) to store them in your account.

4) Notifications

Notifications are optional and used only for reminders you enable. You can change notification settings at any time in EchoFrame Settings or your device Settings.

5) Subscriptions & Payments

Purchases are processed by Apple via in-app purchase. We do not collect or store your full payment details. Apple may provide us with purchase and subscription status (e.g., whether a subscription is active).

Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel in your Apple ID settings.

6) Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with service providers needed to run the app (for example, secure hosting, analytics, or crash reporting), and only to the extent necessary.

7) Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal requirements.

8) Your Choices

  • Disable notifications at any time in Settings.
  • Stop using photos by not granting access or by removing photos from entries.
  • Request access, correction, or deletion of your data (where applicable by law).
